32 guitarists play classic solos. 5/8 of 64 is 40 because 64 ÷ 8 = 8 and 5 groups of 8 are guitarists (5 • 8 = 40) 1:4 is 5 added up so you multiply 4 by 8 (4 • 8 = 32) and 1 by 8 to make sure it adds to 40 (32 + 8 = 40)
