Your Profile is the central point of your account on HiH, and the profiles that arrived with the update did not disappoint anyone wanting to add more spice and personality to their pages. As well as displaying your posts and allowing people to post on your page as before, profiles now come with Backstories, cover pictures, profile pictures and additional information such as your ‘Title’, and are also easy to edit and access. Below are images detailing the works of your profile and different aspects you can customise.

To edit your profile, you can click the button located on your page, or access it via the navigation bar:

From there, you can tweak and edit a huge amount of things, starting with titles, cover images and profile images, as shown below. Please note that, due to copyright reasons, your name cannot be a canon name - that is, names taken directly from the Harry Potter series, such as "Hermione Granger". Your title and name will be viewed wherever you post/other, and is customisable to fit most wizarding titles, including some abstract inventions you yourself might come up with:

A basic drop-down of information can also be found to the left of you profile, stating simple info such as your house, nationality and so on. However, the only option that is directly customisable after your sign up is your nationality, the others either change as you progress through HiH, or remain the same forever:

You can add a Backstory for the roleplay side of things,  where you can elaborate on your character's history and personality. You are encouraged to write this backstory yourself, or choose one of the many templates provided by HiH. These provided templates include “Student”, “Ghost”, “Hogsmeade Shopkeeper” and More:

Lastly, via your profile, you can view your friends, followers, wall and about, and do the same on other people’s profiles. When looking at another person’s profile, there will also be the option to follow them:
