Backstory

Hi! I'm Sam, and I'm a Hufflepuff. I feel the sorting hat made that decision because my heart is filled with so much kindness and dedication to the things that I love. I just want everyone to be happy and on equal ground, even though I know that it'll never happen. I was a hatstall, and it was between Hufflepuff and Slytherin. I may be loyal and dedicated, but there is a side to me that is sly, cunning, and ambitious. I could have easily found a home in the Slytherin house, but my conscience would have changed. I am a muggleborn, as neither of my parents are associated with the wizarding world. Being a muggleborn has caused me to be taken less seriously than I ought to be. If I ever propose an idea that seems extraordinary, I am often turned down because of my blood status. I want to use magic to help others. There is nothing that makes me happier than knowing that I've affected someone's life positively.
