As a Ministry of Magic employee, I find that I am able to get the best of both worlds: being an adult and visiting Hogwarts. When I first joined the Ministry after Hogwarts I was a Hit Witch for the Ministry first hand, but something wasn't very fulfilling in capturing dangerous witches and wizards. You see, as a young girl born to pure-blood parents yet raised without them (as I was dropped in France as an infant to be adopted by muggles), I suffered a ridiculous amount of bullying as a child for my magical abilities. My adoptive parents moved us to Hampshire, Britain, yet still it continued with a devastating ending. Meeting "new friends" by the shore, I was playing with the water. In the small moment that I produced magic with the water, these "new friends" were witness to it and threw stones and chased after me. With my fear of being hurt and as I ran as fast as I could, my magic turned against me and shattered my legs. After that, I wouldn't cast magic for a time until a wizarding family from Wiltshire found out about me two years later. With their help and counseling for a whole year and treatment at St. Mungos, I accepted myself. It was the magic of my wand (Ebony, Basilisk Fang, 14 1/2", Unyielding) that truly aided my legs despite it's reputation.
At first, as a Hit Witch, I chased after criminals such as Dark Witches and Wizards with the thought that they were responsible for The International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy-- thus making witchcraft feared among muggles which in turn led to cases such as mine and the cases of Obscurials due to their repulsion of magic. Yes, I know the Statute was made by Pure-Bloods like myself to keep from "mixing blood", but it has severely backfired upon us all. But then I came into the conclusion, after a few years as a Hit Witch, that it isn't so much the Witch or Wizard as it is their upbringing and education. I am unyielding to aid those formed by the Statute of Secrecy and know now that educating our young better can better the future of Wizarding kind and Non-Magical kind alike. Teaching our young... prevents the making of evil in their old.
So, with that all told, you can expect to see me sitting in your classrooms and watching studiously. If there are any concerns from the student body, I can (at the very least) listen-- but don't expect much action. All concerns should be taken to the Hogwarts staff. I am but just an earnest ear to your whispers.
