Orresta James

Backstory

Orresta came from a long line of pureblood witches and wizards, his family being sorted into a fairly even mix of Slytherins and Ravenclaws. His older brother and father, for example, were Ravenclaws, but his mother and himself were Slytherins. His mother was a Healer, and his father worked for the Ministry of Magic. His brother, after graduating Hogwarts, went on to be a professional Quidditch as a chaser. Orresta arrived at Hogwarts with his cuddly barn owl, Athena, and his white cat, Octavian. Although his family is made of purebloods, a splash of Veela happened to fall into the mix- however, no family member will admit to it. Orresta's immediate family, in particular, got it the strongest. This made Orresta 1/4 Veela, but didn't receive any of the other magic abilities, such as throwing fire. His mother believes that her mother was a Veela, but she'd never admit that to her husband's side of the family.

While on vacation in France, Orresta met a boy from Beauxbatons, named Florian, and they started seeing each other short after. Being in the Beauxbatons house, Papillionlisse, Florian was a hopeless romantic, and often acted like a fairytale prince. He enjoyed playing the piano and violin, and had the singing voice of an angel. Florian visited Hogwarts on occasion, and often sent letters by way of owl, still handwritten on parchment and smelling of roses.

Orresta was also a barkeep at the Hogsmeade tavern, the Three Broomsticks. It was one of his hobbies, and he enjoyed it quite a good bit. It gave him the money to do some of the things he enjoyed at Hogwarts, such as buy Yule gifts for friends, as well as visit Florian in France. Although he didn't quite know what he wanted to do when he graduated, Florian suggested that with Orresta's success in Herbology and passion for helping others, he would make for an excellent Healer, like his mother. For now, Orresta tends bar, and enjoys his visits to and from Florian.

Physical Description: Long, brown hair that curls at the ends, which reaches his mid back. Gentle, light blue eyes that look like sunlight on snow. Freckles spot across the bridge of his nose, with a sprinkle on his cheeks. He stands around 5'9", and in incredibly thin, almost ghost-like. He has slightly tanned skin from much time spent in the sun, as well as his Greek heritage. Often found wearing a floral crown, they are usually made of baby-pink roses.

Physical Description: Tall and lean, Florian stood around 6'4", and had beautiful, sun-kissed skin. He had glistening blonde hair, which quaffed over his forehead. His warm blue eyes light up like stars, his diamond dusted smile one of his most noticed attributes. His lips were like rose petals, soft and pale pink.
