Backstory

When I received my Hogwarts letter it wasn't really a surprise. I was born into a pureblood wizarding family; not one of the pretentious ones but we held enough power. Anyway, my parents were going to go shopping in London anyway and they figured they would take me. The best part of Diagon Alley was picking up potions gear. I just love brewing potions! I hope I'll be the top of my class. As a parting gift, I received an eagle owl and I had to promise to write every weekend. Being sorted into Slytherin wasn't a big surprise either. My whole family had been in that house except for my aunt and my cousin. I look forward to this year and I plan to do my best.
