Backstory

I love my job, but being a quidditch player isn't easy. After practice I'm always sore and it's very tempting to just sit and relax, wait for my sore muscles to heal. But like any other person, there are other responsibilities that must be taken care of. There are a lot of things an athlete has to juggle in one day, miss one and everything falls to chaos. There is often not a lot of time for relaxation in the end because its really important for an athlete to get a lot of sleep, or for any person really. And the next morning its always a struggle to get myself out of bed, because I know that another grueling practice is what's waiting for me.
And added on that the pressure of fame. Being in the public eye is not easy. You always have to watch what you say or do because it is very important to keep up a good image. People are very quick to turn against their celebrities if they slip up. An important part of keeping my career is making sure that I am popular among fans.
But it's all is worth it when its game time. Before the game is awful. I'm a nervous wreck. Are we going to win? Will I mess up the game? But during the game--Whooh! There is no feeling like it. My anxiety melts away. The spectators and their cheering melts away. You can just hear them, but its so far in the background it loses all meaning. I see my teammate and I see the opposite team, thats it. And all I'm feeling is adrenaline. Sweet, sweet adrenaline. It is, really, the best feeling in the world.
