Backstory

I was positively dumbfounded when my letter arrived. I'm a Muggleborn, and my parents didn't know of magic, so you can expect the surprise when an owl delivered my invitation to Hogwarts. I'd always known something was a little different about me. When I felt strong emotions, I unconsciously used magic. After getting the letter multiple times (we had no idea Hogwarts existed), my parents and I finally discovered the truth about my magic and they're very supportive. I'm very lucky to be attending this school. I wish I could brag to my Muggle friends, but they think I went to a random boarding school. I'm a bit new around here, but this place feels like home. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to learn here about something that I was never exposed to in the Muggle world.
