At breakfast Madeline got a package the same package as every other first year. It was a book about spells, it was called Good and bad spells how to tell the difference by: Treian Lampouse, that day in Spells class there was a sub his name was Papilouse blaniet.
“ In your new books turn to page 249 chapter name dark spells,” said Papilouse
Madeline made it to page 248 but when she turned the page the pages were gone.
“ um Mr. Papilouse the pages are gone!” said Nicolas and Madeline at the same time.
The class started to say “ Ooooo-” But the teacher cut them off and said “ Well turn to page to 259” Those pages were gone as well finally the teacher left the room. “That was-
Weird,” said Nicolas

“ Shut up Ople,” said Nicolas Giving Ople a stink eye
Madeline’s head dropped and Finley and Sage who sat behind Madeline jump over the seats and sat in the empty seats,

“ Really well I’ll tell you something, Sage pushed me down the stairs so ya,” Finley said.

That night at dinner professor Lavish made a huge speech about quidditch. After the speech Madeline could hear the older kids saying “ where's the headmaster?”
Finally dinner started. During dinner one of the kids walked up to Madeline and said “ I dare you to go up to the Hogwarts actic” and the kid went back and sat at the slytherin table. But for some reason She didn’t think It was a joke,so that night she snuck out and went up to actic when she walked in the door closed right behind her she started to walk around when she found a bookshelf and at the bottom was a chest the next thing happened so fast her vision blurred and she heard her name get call but not her name the voice called Leila the voice was a voice she had never heard but seemed kinda familiar. She found herself on the floor grasping the box she opened the box and found all the missing pages from the books They got, as she touched the pages she felt sick then she saw a glimpse of a man and a woman, the man had Madelines eye and the woman had her hair. She heard her name but this time it was her name she felt a hand on her back she turned around to find Nicolas
“ Are you okay,” said Nicolas
“ Um sure!” Madeline said.
“ I am here to save you! We heard screaming,” said nicolas
“ Um okay, “ Madeline said. still clutching the box,
Madeline tried to get up but used too much of her energy and fainted. She woke up to find Nicolas walking around. Madeline had just enough energy to hug nicolas around the waist . Nicolas looked shocked but smiled, Madeline smiled back then passed out. She woke up to the sound of cheering, Nicolas found a way out and the whole school was waiting for Nickolas to come out. The lady in robes apared and in front of Madeline accepted she looked different, her hair was down and her robes were brown and purple, she also had hazel eyes.
“ well done Mr. Crystal,” said the lady
“ Who are you!, “yelled one of the students
In the next thing They knew a grey cloud appeared and the lady was gone. the room filled with whispers. Then Mr. Lavish walked up motioned for Nickolas to put down Madeline. And for everyone to go to bed. After Madeline had rested in the hospital wing she hopped out of bed and headed to the library. She hadn’t noticed but the box she was holding in the attic was in a glass case protected by a spell in a room that seemed to be an abandoned office. But this time when Madeline walked past she saw two figures in the window one of them saw Madeline run out of the room and smiled.
“ Maika’i loa ,” Sage said. smiling
“ What are you doing there?” asked Madeline “ and who’s the other person?”
Then the other figure walked out.
“ Hola !” said Finley “ como estas?”
“ Why are you speaking a different Language?” asked Madeline
“ Ugh Madeline it’s for class you pick a language and speak it for three hours,” Finley said. . “ I chose Spanish,Sage chose Hawiian, Nicolas chose Irish, and Henry chose Greek,”
“ Um well can I do...French? Asked Madeline
“ Ya,” Sage said.

“ what?,” asked Sage
“ What were you doing?” Madeline said. repeating herself
“ Just looking at the box,”Finley said.
“ Well okay but that box is weird,” Madeline said.
“ Really?” asked Finley “ we didn’t see anything weird about it,”
“ What?” Madeline stood the re contemplating if she was just going crazy or not.
Then They headed to the library and sat down where They had to study for exams. That night Madeline couldn’t fall asleep. Her eyes felt like They were glued open, Her mouth was dry and she was sweating a lot. Madeline got up and opened up the window. But what she missed was glowing orb above her head. the next day Madeline tried to stay awake for all her class but miss one about next year's partner competitions
