Professor Lavish was waiting for the first year students he led them to a big gate. They entered into a huge room with four tables all tables wearing different colors and up front was a stool with an old hat. Professor Lavish went up to the stool and stated to call names
. “ James Gooter” Professor Lavish put that hat on his head and the hat began to talk” mmmm- Ravenclaw” one of the tables started clapping.
“ Opel Jeting “ that hat took a long time then “ Gryffindor” another table started to clap.
“ Finley Hales” the hat was set on Finley's head . Then “ Hufflepuff “ A table started to clap.
“ Henry Bowens” a boy walked up, sat down and closed his eyes. “ Ravenclaw ” the last table started to clap.
“ Haley fisher” said Professor Lavish, “ Gryffindor “
“ liam Porter” A long pause then “ Slytherin”
“ Nataly King” as she walked up and the hat was set on her head…” Ravenclaw”
“ Nicolas Crystal” he waited Then walked up. “ Huffle- no Gryffin- wait no Slyth- ugh Rav- Nope Slytherin ”
“ Madeline Palmer” Mmmm- yes I see “ Hufflepuff “ Madeline walked over and sat next to Finley .
“ Sage Alder” “ Yes Hufflepuff”
“ Evelyn Fisher” “ Oooo- twin I see Gryffidor,”
The sorting went on for the longest time ever, after the sorting a mysterious person in a big black robe walked up and said “ Let the feast begin” the table magicly filled with Food. Madeline grabbed some Chicken salad, some hand pies , and poured some Pumpkin juice into her goblet. Finley grabbed a Roast beef sandwich and some sourbay.
“ Why not just Ice cream,” asked Madeline
“ I’m lactose intolerant,” Finley said.
“ Oh,” Madeline said.
Sage who sat across from Finley grabbed some salad and carrots.
“ Let me guess your vegetarian,” Madeline said.
“ Vegan,” Sage said.
“ Great,”Madeline said.
After the feast the hufflepuff leader led them to a photo of a man playing guitar.
“ What's the password,”asked the man
“ d minor ,” said the leader.
The photo swon opened to reveal a huge room. The leader took the boys to their dormitory and the leader's sister took the girls to their dormitory.
The girls dormitory was a two story room and on the second floor was where all the beds were. On the first floor, it was just a place to study and hangout That night Finley and Madeline whent and snuck down to the first floor to find Sage sitting on a couch lying with a picture of a boy who was in an army uniform. Finley walked over and put her hand on Sage’s back.
“ You okay?” asked Finley
“ What? Ya,” Sage said. Wiping away tears
“ Was he your brother?” asked Madeline
“ Ya,” Sage said.
“ I never knew my parents,” Madeline said.
“ Thanks for trying,” Sage said.
“ That's fine,” Finley said. who gave Madeline a look.
“ Well I should get back in bed,” Sage said.
“ We all should,” Madeline said.
“ Um Sage I think it’s a good idea but Madeline and I need to talk right!” Finley said.
“ We do? Oh ya we do!” Madeline said.
“ Fine,” Sage said. Shrugging.
After Sage left Madeline and Finley Opened the window and snuck out.
“ Well were to?” asked Madeline
“Don’t know?” Finley said.
Finley suddenly stopped. Madeline Stopped right behind her Then a woman in black and red robes with grey hair tied up in a twist and blue eyes walked from the corner.
“ They can’t know,” said the lady
“ But the Palmer’s their daughter what about the other-
“ We do not speak of that day!”said the lady in a very striked voice.
“ fine but she’s here and you know what danger she’s in,” said the other voice
“ Of course I do!” said the lady
Madeline Looked and Finley who was wide eyed.
“ What about the other girl,” asked the voice
“ Richard and Clara Hale's daughter,” asked the lady
“ ya thats her,” said Voice
“ Well she could either save Madeline or-
“ We have eyes all over the school,” said the voice
Madeline and Finley had a silent conversation, so they carefully made their way back up their dorm. The next day Madeline and Finley didn’t talk at all, Sage knew something was up so she went and asked Madeline what was up.
“ Nothing,” Madeline said.
“ Okay,” Sage said.
Then Sage went to Finley .
“ Why aren’t you talking with Madeline?” asked Sage
“ Just don’t want to,” Finley said. who was staring at Nicolas.
“ What?” asked Sage looking at Nicolas
“ Nothing,” Finley said. who walked over and started laughing.
Sage Laughed, Then walked away.
In Potions class They had to make an Invisibility potion. Finley was first to finish and poried her potion on a rat, the rat turned invisible… the whole class started to clap.
“ go Finley ,” said Yelled Nicolas Finley started to giggle the rest of the class started to hallor and Henry yelled “ Way to go,” but know one heared him except Sage. Sage walked over and patted Henry on the back. He looked at her and smiled.
“ I wish she would notice me,” Henry said.
“ Ya everyone does,” Sage said.
“ I finished mine do you want to see it?”asked Henry
“ Sure one sec, “Sage said. who ran whispered something into Finley ’s ear.
“ Guys Henry finished his potion,” Finley said. who turned towards Henry. Henry Smiled and nodded at Sage Then he poured his potion on a frog and it turned invisible. Finley ’s eyes twinkled, she smiled then clapped, the rest of the class started to clap. the teacher said “ ten points to Hufflepuff” and “ ten points to Slytherin”
On the way back from dinner Sage met up with Henry and told him to stand on the stairs. Then Sage and Finley were walking Sage “Pushed” Finley and Henry caught her.
“ Awww,” Sage said. who ran up the stairs
Finley smiled Then Henry Let her down.
“ Finley Hales,” Finley said. putting her hand out.
“ Henry bowens,” Henry said. shaking her hand
Then Nicolas came whispering into Henry's ear.
“ I have to go,” Henry said.
“ Okay,” Finley said.
Went Finley made it back to the dorm Sage came up and asked “what happened”
“ Oh nothing you pushed me Then he caught me ,” Finley said. looking over to find Madeline Sleeping.
“ Good night,” Sage said. to Finley
“ night,” Finley said.
Madeline woke up that night to find Zoe Becker standing over her.
“ Um hi,” Madeline said. sitting up
“ A rock broke the window, “said Zoe
“ Um okay why don’t you wake up the leader, “asked Madeline
“ Good Idea,” said Zoe
“ That was strang,” Whispered Madeleine who quickly fell back asleep
The next day She noticed Finley and Sage’s bed were empty so she went downstairs to find them asleep on the couch.
