~Draco's POV~
I followed the Slytherin prefect to the our dorms. We had to go to the dungeons to get there. The prefect explained how to get in. All we had to do was wait for the painting to ask for the password, say it, and the picture would swing open to reveal the entrance to the common room. When the painting asked for the password the prefect said the word pureblood, which I didn't know what that meant. I'm assuming it has something to do with lineage though. The painting swung open allowing all of us to enter. The common room was made of stone and it was under the black lake so there was a window that showed into the water. It was slightly gloomy, but it was slightly calming. There was a fire place, and around it was an emerald green sofa, and two emerald green armchairs. They looked really comfortable. The prefect then let us explore and go up to the dorms. There was two staircases leading to the dorms, one was labeled "Girls" and one was labeled "Boys". Some of the boys tried to go up to the girl dormitory but the stairs just turned into a slide and the slid right back down to the bottom of the stairs. I snickered. "Idiots," I mumbled under my breath. I walked up the staircase towards the boys dorms. The beds were all four poster with emerald green curtains, for privacy purposes I assumed. I set my trunk under the bed that i chose, in the farthest corner and unpacked my clothes into the dark oak nightstand next to my bed. I sat my wand and books on top of the nightstand next to the simple silver-colored lamp and laid down on the bed and closed the curtains to just get used to all of the noise. At the orphaage there was a lot of noise, but not nearly this much. I closed my eyes and soon fell fast alseep.
