It's been about three years (we're 9 now,) since our encounter with the snake, and now we get bullied because we can talk to snakes. All of the other kids think we are crazy. Now when we see a snake we like to talk to it. Snakes are a lot more interesting than you might think. Anyway, we have one snake that we keep. Its not really a pet, but he's always with us. He's a black mama. Anyway, today is the day of our first meeting for someone to adopt us. At least four kids have came and gone since we've been here. I heard somewhere that the couple that is coming to see us today is a gay couple. Neither of us had thought about what it would be like to have two dads, but I liked the idea. In our old family, our mom was the mean and controlling one. Our dad was soft spoken and could never say no to us. I don't know the names of the people coming to see us, but I have a feeling that we will like them.
