"See ya, Mum!" I call as I go out the back door. After I am out of sight of the house, I use my superspeed to get to school. I stop just before Silvermaple and begin to walk normally. "Morning, Mr Caloss," I say as I go past.

"Morning, Nyx."

I superspeed to class, put my bag on the hook and go inside. "WHAZZUP!"

Dexter, Luke and Lara look up. "Hi," says Lara in a bored manner.*

I laugh, then go and sit down at my desk, waiting for the maths interchange bell to ring.

TOTALLY BORING AND IRRELEVANT CLASSES GO PAST FOR THE NEXT 1 1/2 HOURS

Yes, it's finally morning tea, I think as I fetch my snack. I go outside and superspeed to the spot just because I can. When everyone arrives, I say, "We all know what happened last week, and we know  we all now have superpowers, so I would like to know what everyone's powers are."

"Shape shifting and time travel." Dexter changes into a plant to demonstrate.

"Invisibility and super speed," says Payge with a smile.

Jasmine is jumping on the spot. "Telekinesis and Invisibility,"

  Lara admits to darkness and shapeshifting, Luke has shapeshifting and superhealing, and Lily has superspeed and superhealing.

"Superspeed and water," says Krissie throwing a ball of water at Dexter, "thought you looked a bit wilted!"

We all laugh as Dexter turns back into a human sadly not soaking wet anymore.

 

"Ok then I have more than any of you guys," I say laughing "I have Superspeed, Speaking to and turning into animals, complete control over darkness, fire, water, and lighting PLUS flying!"

"Wait you are saying you can fly?" asks Payge dumbfounded.

"YEP!" I shout and fly up into the air and fly around the school. "Proof enough?"

"Yep," Dexter shouts up to me.

I reurn to the ground and we walk around and have fun for the rest of lunchtime!

But what they dont know is that I have one more power...
