Chapter 2: Locating Vaults

Chapter 3

HOW TO LOCATE AN OLD GOD'S VAULT

Locating the vault where ancient humans or possibly gods sealed beings of great evil is not an easy feat. As mentioned at the end of Chapter 1, many of the vaults that are known, are unopened and located beneath the once great Western Civilizations. However, this doesn't mean that these are the only known vaults in existence. In fact, Shaedanath Industry's current hypothesis is that at least fifteen vaults still remain undiscovered.

Identifying a Vault isn't as difficult as it sounds. Many ancient civilizations left their relics of power when they vanished or died out, and these temples and such that they created often hold untold treasures. These treasures are simply to appease those who decided to raid the temple in the first place. Oftentimes, the secret passages hidden inside the temple lead to a series of caves that seem to crisscross large tracks of land. These tunnels, though they seem to lead in circles and nowhere at the same time, all lead to Vaults, in the case of most of the already Identified Vaults.

IF you have managed to locate a Vault, you'll know so by the chill in the air. While it is naturally colder underground, the presence of permafrost underground generally indicates a Vault due to the fact that the Vault needs to be chilled, to try and keep the victim contained in it's Vault.

Now, if this is in fact a Vault, you should reach the end of the Tunnels, and see a large, Rainbow Moonstone Door. This should be relatively immovable, and also have an ancient writing in it. As with the other vaults, the Language of the Door should be the Oldest language in that particular Region.

Please consult a local description of the Local Languages in order to confirm the presence of an Old God.
