Lesson 3

Chapter 4
- creating a potion can be dangerous, it can lead to a painful injury or death
- use a cauldron
- pewter cauldron (slowest and least expensive, standard cauldron)
- brass cauldron (medium level speed, slightly more expensive, 10% faster than pewter)
- copper cauldron (fastest brewing, used during the Chalcolithic Period)
- rare cauldrons (gold, silver, fire crab)
- bring dragon-hide gloves
- set of scales
- measuring cups
- ruler
- sharp knife
- cutting board
- mortar and pestle
- stirring untensil
- cauldron cleaner
- VERY IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS EXACTLY!!!!!!!
- prep in advance
- might need certain moon phases or celestial alignment
- self-heating cauldrons do exist
- Ingredients Must Be Added In The Correct Order
- Out Of Order, Reactions Might Not Happen
- stirring with wand? DO NOT STICK YOUR WAND IN THE POTION
- stir either clockwise or counter-clockwise
- Estimated Brew Time (EBT)
- store in a glass or crystal phial
- Total Brew Time (TBT)
- how long a potion can be stored and expiration date
- label phial w/ name of potion, effect, ingredients, date brewed, expiration date, usage, and warnings
