After Harry threw the elder wand off of the broken bridge in fell into the hands of Voldemort. How did he get there you might ask. I thought he was dead. Well, when Harry dropped the stone in the Forbidden forest one of Voldemort's followers picked it up and turned it thrice in his hand. The magic was so powerful it brought the Dark Lord back to life. Thinking wisely, he when into hiding to try to become a better person after his "first" life.

He mended the Elder Wand and used it to turn himself into a new person. As Harry got older he became friends with the new Tom Riddle. And he never suspected that his friend was the same person that made his childhood horrible...

What if at the very end of the last book, it said, "And Harry woke up back in the cupboard." Wouldn't that be horrible? It would mean you read that whole series for nothing....
