Welcome to the lake, if you see occasional octopus tentacles rise and fall from the water, don't worry it's just the giant squid. So, lets start with the Slytherins, my house and the best house of all. The other houses may say otherwise but nevertheless we are the best! Did you bring the potions? Oh thank Merlin, and of course thank you! If Snape finds out these weren't for McGonagall your dead but i can fix that for you. Anyway lets get started!

Slytherin ups:                                                                                                                                               Slytherins are know for their fair amount of dark wizards, yes, but the other houses have just as much dark wizards as we do. See we're not all that bad, we actually have many great wizards too, did you know Merlin was in Slytherin? Yes indeed, the greatest wizard of all time was a Slytherin! Now we are very intelligent in fact just as smart as the Ravenclaws but we are brothers, unlike the Ravenclaws, we look out for each other. It is known we are particularly good at The Dark Arts but that's not all, yes, most of us are good at potions too but it's not just because Snape is our house leader. Our house ghost is the Bloody Baron, he's pretty cool and he'll frighten some kids for you if your nice to him. We are very competitive and that's a good thing, do you think we would have beaten the Gryffindors in Quidditch if we weren't so competitive? No we probably wouldn't of but the Gryffindors are just show offs! Well now for the Slytherin downs...

Slytherin downs:                                                                                                                                                          So we have many dark wizards like Bellatrix Lestrange, Voldemort, Lucius Malfoy and so on and so forth. Salazar Slytherin was cowardly when he fled, he was cowardly and stupid to leave our beautiful school and hand it over to the other houses. He would have been great, he would have been admired but instead he threw that away and fled. I hate talking about the fact that our house presenter left us, Salazar Slytherin was one of the best and one of the bravest but he was also afraid, why he was afraid i don't know... Over some years the sorting hat has been putting people into our house who aren't suppose to be. We have had people who make us seem weak, dumb and aggressive. I'll agree, they may come from a long line of Slytherins but they certainly are NOT Salazar's children...
