The Deathly Duel of Danger

Chapter 4
It had been a year since my tangling with the Venomous Tentacula and a year and ⅓ since my incident in Magby Manor. Both trips were sent by Thomas Quinch, the President of magical America. He was getting quite suspicious, to the point where I didn't trust him. Of course, he did have the love of the public through his many speeches. I decided to go straight to MACUSA headquarters to ask him about the adventures he tasked me with.
I walked into the lobby and went to the front desk where I met the Front Secretary, Constance Babblen. She was not a very pleasant women, but a bit groggy and nasty woman, a strong follower of Quinch.
"Whadda ya want, kid?", she said.
"I need an urgent meeting with President Quinch, ma'am."
"Do ya have an appointment?"
"Er, yes... I am um... Ranley... Peterson." I said, while reading Ms. Babblen's mind with Legilimency.
"Ah yes! Terribly sorry, Mr. Minister!" Ranley Peterson is the Minister for Magic in France. "Mr. Quinch is on the 5th floor, the green door on the left."
I went to the glass elevator and was shot up. In 2 seconds, I was at the 5th Floor, a long hallway with at least 100 doors. I went into the large green door that was labeled "President Quinch". I walked in, only to see a man saying "Avada Kedavra!", exclaimed the taller man. The other person was hit by a flash of green light and fell, lifeless, upon the ground. That was when I realized that this man was none other than the President, Thomas Quinch.
"Oh! It's you, Mr. Ridgeback. Umm...this isn't what it looks like...", he stammered, wiping off his sweat. "This is the er... notorious Dark wizard, umm... Draconifors"
I looked at the dead wizard and saw that he was Ranley Peterson. "Sir! You murdered the French Minister of Magic!"
"Clever boy... yes, Ridgeback. I killed Ranley, but for a good cause. He is a threat to America. He wants to overcome this country!" Quinch was obviously unstable and paranoid. Everyone knew that Minister Peterson wanted only the best for the Wizarding World.
"Sir, please, you're not well!"
"Oh I'll tell you if I'm well, boy. Imperio!" His spell hit me as soon as he cast it and the spell almost took over my body. I struggled and struggled, but I finally blocked out the curse.
"Crucio", he said with a stern face. The blast was quick, but I ducked it, much to the anger of Quinch. "Reducto!", he cried with might.
I made a strong shield with "Protego!" I knew that Quinch was serious. Quinch conjured a flame and sent it straight towards my head. I transformed it into a snake and used the Oppugno Jinx to make the snake aggressive towards him. The serpent hissed and attacked Quinch, nearly biting his leg. Quinch quickly said "Vipera Evanesca" and the snake vanished.
Quinch was annoyed and he conjured ropes to capture me, so I cast the Severing Charm to cut all of them. I said "Ventus" and a gust of wind pushed him back. Then, he conjured a snake by saying "Serpensortia" and turned it into smoke, trying to escape. Before he could, I finally cast "Petrificus Totalus" and Quinch froze, unable to move. Then, I cast "Revelio" and Quinch's face morphed into someone else. He was really Grapscar!
