It was a starry, clear night. A boy was sitting on the dorm windowsill, staring into the night, his messy black hair glowing in the moonlight. Behind him, a brown-haired shape was stirring from beneath his blankets. "Sirius, what are you doing sitting on my windowsill this late?" asked Remus. "Watching how the stars could never be as beautiful as you," was the whisper he heard, quietened by his cloak. He smiled and turned over in his bed. His newly found boyfriend was more than he ever deserved. The boy clambered down, gave him a swift kiss and muttered: "I love you".
