Flobberworm Meals
Chapter 6
Flobberworms are found in all corners of the world, and all corners of the globe have found uses for flobberworms. Many places actually use them for food and they're surprisingly delicious. Meals made of flobberworms are found around the world, even in our very own Hogwarts! Here, I have placed two recipes including flobberworms. Please note that these recipes work just as good with dead flobberworms and it's unethical to kill them for the use of food.
Flobberworm Fritters- This yummy lunch recipe is popular in the UK, especially Hogwarts.
Needed- flobberworm, bread crumbs, 9 inch frying pan, vegetable oil, 1 egg, seasonings (optional)
Steps- 1. Mix crumbs, seasonings, and the egg yolk.
2. Heat oil in a deep fryer or a large saucepan to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
3. Fry the flobberworm, turning frequently, until golden brown for 15-20 minutes. .
Flobberjam- This thick jam is popular with bread and other sweets around the world.
Needed- 1 quart flobberworm mucus, 1tsp sugar, 1/4 lemon juice (optional)
Steps- 1. Mix all ingredients in a heavy-bottomed saucepan
2. Stir over low-heat until sugar dissolves and slowly bring it up to a boil.
3. Boil and stir until the mixture is 220 degrees Fahrenheit.
4. Transfer to hot sterile jars.
