Spongify! :D

Chapter 5

I am back to my Potions classroom... Professor Nivera called me on an
extra class this Saturday, because I had not paid attention to her
lecture, and subsequently had failed to make my potion. Gathering all
the necessary ingredients for the production of Antidote to Common
Poisons, I sat down and set up my tools.

First, my cauldron,
and its stand. Then I separated my solid ingredients from the liquid. I
started adding them, one by one, and I then I reached a point I had to
chop my Bezoar.

Drat. I had forgot to bring my blade, and I did
not want to ask one from the Professor, and disappoint her. So, I drew
out my wand, focused intently and whispered "Diffindo." The
bezoar sliced itself slowly across the path I was picturing in my mind.
Sufficed by my work, I inserted the Bezoar into the cauldron, and
started stirring.

After some minutes, the book requested the
mixture to be heat up. Confident in my abilities for this task, I placed
my wand in front of the stand, and whispered defiantly "Incendio".
Crystal blue flames, the product of hours of practice, fired and my
potion started to warm. When almost boiled, I stirred it anti-clockwise
three times, and carefully took a portion of the potion and encapsulated
in a bottle. Writing its information on a label, I gave it to Professor
Nivera. She smiled kindly and told me that the colour seemed rather
well.

I sighed silently in relief, and thanked her.

We learnt two spells this week in Charms. I was particularly fond of Spongify.
I applied it on to my quill and the results were really fun. It became
rubber like, and I watched it jump off my table whenever I dropped it
with force! My friend Michael said there are specific places here in
Hogwarts where you can apply the spell and they turn into sort of
trampolines, which eject up in the air!
I must definitely see to myself if this is true. Imagine!
