My name is Kate Jones and I am in my third year at Hogwarts. I have 2 friends, Sally and Helen. This is my diary of how my year was like as a thirteen year old at Hogwarts.

Chapter 1
Dear Diary,
Today was the second month of school, AND, its a Saturday today!!!! Its my fave day of the week!!!!! I had just finish eating breakfast, a glass of orange juice, a crossiant, and a plate of eggs. After eating, I went off to find Sally and Helen. They were in the common room. I told them,"Hurry up and get dress!!! We're going exploring!!!" "But don't we know this entire place already?"Sally ask. I just laugh. "Oh, there's lots of places in Hogwarts that we don't know about, even if we're third years. But I do!!" My eyes twinkle in a mysterious way. Helen laugh. SHe says,"We're never bored when we're with you." Sally sighs. "We sure aren't." Sally was the only one of us that cares too much about her grades and her Hogwarts permanent record. She didn't like getting in trouble, never have, and NEVER gt detention at all. Plus, she always wins points for our House, Ravenclaw, so we had to giver her credit. "Come ON!! Slowpokes." Helen threw on a shirt and shorts. "Ready!!!" We all climb out and begin to explore. And guess what? The Ravenclaw prefect, Mia, was right outside. She glared at us, then in a moment, started shouting. "I HEARD EVERYTHING YOU SAID AND I DON'T THINK THERE IS ANYTHING LEFT TO EXPLORE, EXCEPT THE HEADMASTER'S OFFICE AND YOU WON'T LIKE TO EXPLORE THERE UNLESS YOU GOT IN TROUBLE, WHICH YOU ARE ONE WAND LENGTH AWAY!!!! I CAN GIVE YOU DETENTION, YOU KNOW!!!!! AND YOU WON"T LIKE THAT!!!" I stood calmly. "Finish yelling?"I ask,"The whole school could probably hear." Sally jabbed me in the elbow. "Shush!!!"she whispers. Mia glares at us so hard. "This time, you get away. Next time, I won't be as kind!!"she snaps. Mia stalks away. "There goes our exploring time,"Helen sighs. "We'll think of a way." And that was basically how today was. A plan to have fun. Then ruin by the world's most annoying prefect ever. Well, see you tomorrow!!!
