A hippogriff is a creature with head, front legs and wings of a giant eagle and body, back legs and tail of a horse.

Hippogriffs eat meat, so if they’re not tamed and if they’re hungry they can be dangerous. Hippogriffs can also be dangerous if you insult one, since it’s a very proud creature. Insulting them might be the last thing you’ll ever do.

To approach a hippogriff you have to bow, and if it bows back you’ll be able to touch it. If they don’t bow back you better leave. Eye contact is very important while approaching a hippogriff.

The hippogriff always has to make the first move, so if they show interest in you, you can bow. If they don’t show any interest, you shouldn’t even try approaching one. After bowing, you shall move a couple steps closer, and then let the hippogriff take the last steps to you so that you’ll be sure it really lets you touch him/her.

You can use hippogriffs for many things like for example flying and transporting things, having it as a protection or use it on lessons like “care for magical can also just own one as a pet if you like.

If you gain a hippogriffs trust, they’ll be very loyal to you and help you when needed. They’ll also show a lot of affection to you, and be protective. Many hippogriffs will also let you ride them.

Hippogriffs love ferrets, they are delicious. They also love catching bats while the bats fly out of their caves.
