Phoenixes

Chapter 11
A Phoenix is a large swan sized magical bird. It has scarlet feathers and a golden tail.

Phoenixes are friendly creatures, who never get into fights if they don’t have to. They’ll never kill anyone, if this anyone isn’t attacking their owner. If their owner is in danger, they’ll be more than happy to kill you.

When a Phoenix owner dies, they’ll leave for a long long trip, and then after years come back to where the owner died, and stay there as a free Phoenix. A Phoenix would never change owners. No matter what.

Phoenixes can’t die, since they have this thing called burning day. When they get old, they’ll catch up to flames and then be reborn out of the ashes. Also if you kill a Phoenix with a spell or something else they’ll catch up to flames just to be reborn out of the ashes. After being reborn out of the ashes as a chick, it’ll only take them three days to grow full sized again.

Phoenixes are immune to basilisks, so if someone who’s in need of help close to them is fighting a basilisk, they’ll be more than happy to blind the large snake. They also have healing tears, that’ll help you if your hurt. Especially if you have basilisk venom inside of you, their tears will help you.

Sometimes phoenixes let wand makers take their tail feathers to use in wands, but only sometimes. And when a Phoenix gives you their tail feathers, they’ll only give you ONE. There is only one case, where a Phoenix let a wand maker take TWO feathers. This feathers were placed in Harry Potters and Tom Riddles wands.

The Phoenix can disappear, and reappear whenever it wants. And take whoever is holding them with them. They can also fly with people holding onto them, they’ll be able to lift up to four persons at the same time.
