Cursed Items

Chapter 6
The most horrible thing about cursed items is that you can make them do anything, with enough magical power. This chapter will go over some very popular Dark items and how to recreate them. We will not discuss the worst of the cursed items, the Horcrux in this chapter, but I will cover it exclusively in the last chapter.
The first object is the Black Quill. This is a pure black quill that uses the victim's blood to write as ink. The Black Quill was made by Dolores Umbridge, who used it in the 1995-1996 school year during her reign at Hogwarts.
To create this, you must let an ordinary black quill absorb your blood for a week, casting the Bloodbind Curse at the end of the 7th day. This spell takes a massive amount of willpower and concentration. Simply say "Scathius Incos" which is pronounced "SCAY-thee-us INK-oes". Tap the object and it will begin working.
The Opal Necklace is a beautiful necklace studded with opals that causes death or extreme pain. The level of severeness depends on the amount of contact made. If the victim slightly touches it, they'll levitate in a state of emptiness and suffer through immense pain. If the necklace is worn, it causes instant death. This has killed 19 Muggles and almost killed a student named Katie Bell and Albus Dumbledore.
To make this, you must always wear enchanted protective wear. For a year, the enchanter must keep the Opal Necklace's intent in their mind. At the start of each season, a Triggered Killing Curse needs to be cast. Focus on the death of a victim, and apply a strong amount of willpower. Say "Avada Kedavra Dallay" which is pronounced "ahv-AH-dah ked-AHV-rah doll-AY".
The final topic of this chapter is cursed books. You can find these at the Restricted Area at the Hogwarts Library. There are several things that cursed books can do, or curse YOU to do. Some curse people to sing for the rest of their life, or make them suffer until death, or even kill someone. I cannot give you the information about how to make all of these, due to the wide range of curses able to affect them.
One book curse that I can inform you of is the Singsong Curse. This causes the target cursing whoever reads it to speak in songs for the rest of their life. To do this, say "Langcantis" which is pronounced "lan-CAN-tiss". Point and hold it there for 30 seconds. If the reader only reads one word, the spell still takes full effect.
