Death is the true final frontier. There is no way back. Or is there? Welcome to the shady art of necromancy.
Necromancy is the practice of bringing people back from the dead. It also involves avoiding death and immortality. Please note that necromancy is an experimental branch of magic. No one has ever truly brought someone back from Death's clutches. They are only imitations of dead people.
The closest wizardkind has gotten to fully bringing back those who are dead is with the Resurrection Stone, a stone made by Cadmus Peverell. This brought a soul back from beyond the Veil, the imaginary wall between life and death.
Another form of necromancy is Inferi. These are lifeless corpses who do their master's bidding. The way to create inferi takes a great wizard to do. First, you must dig up a corpse and place it on magical grounds. Place the Imperius Curse on it and it will come to life and obey your command.
