Broomsticks: A Brief Summary
Chapter 1
Broomsticks, or better known "Brooms", are one of the several forms of transportation used by Witches and Wizards in the Modern Wizarding World. The earliest recorded use of a broom was in 962, somewhere in Germany. Typically only Wizards and Witches use brooms, while house-elves and goblins prefer other means of travel (Such as the use of Apparition). Brooms tend to have their types of personalities. It has been said that Brooms often emulate their owners and feed off their personalities type. The most common use for Brooms in the modern day is in Quidditch or short distance traveling.
