Chapter 1
"Lumos." And suddenly, the tip of her wand lit up.
"Ugh!" Ara woke up, pounding her fists on her soft mattress. "Not that dream again!"
"Ara, is everything alright?" her adoptive mother, Analiesa Wells, asked.
"No! I had that dream again about my real mother!" Ara said.
"About Lylac? Again?" her mother took Ara's hand in hers. "I'm sorry you have to be reminded of her. It must feel terrible. I want to tell you a secret about your parents, but you cannot tell any of your friends."
"I won't, I promise,"
"Alright. Your mother and father went to Hogwarts,"
"Wait, WHAT?!"
"I know how much you are obsessed with the Harry Potter series, and since school starts in a couple of days, I wanted to tell you that you received your Hogwarts letter an hour back, but you were still sleeping so I decided to tell you when you woke up."
"Oh my God! This is so surreal!"
"I'll leave you to get ready. We're going to Diagon Alley."
"Mum! Thank you!"
"For what?"
"For everything!" Ara leapt into her mother's arms, who smiled and hugged Ara back. After some time, she released Ara and left the room, leaving the beautiful girl she adopted grinning. Yes, Ara was quite beautiful. She had wavy brown hair that reached her waist and hazel eyes that attracted everyone. She didn't know it, but she was famous. She was so famous in the wizarding world that she was noticeable from a mile away. Ara was yet to figure that out.
