Hermione's Diary
written by Emma Jean Granger
This is the diary of Hermione Granger. Diary entries will be added every now and then, to tell you of Hermione's journey at Hogwarts with her friends. To her, classes and books are the highlight of this incredible experience. But, obviously, friends are worth a lot too! Follow Hermione as she goes through Hogwarts every day, talking to her friends, going on adventures, and much more! She is currently in her 3rd year (hope that explains why the dates are in 2016)!

Chapter 5
Dear Diary,
Something great happened! I checked out five books from the Hogwarts library, and now I get to read them! Awesome, isn't it? I've talked to Meg a bit more, and she says she prefers Quidditch over books. Now I'm confused as to why the Sorting Hat would place her in Ravenclaw, but I'm sure it has it's own reasons. Ron's a bit kinder now. I won't talk to him like a friend, but we do talk about studies a bit. Alright, not even a bit, which I'm totally fine with, because he apparently hates studies. Oh, he's not a Ravenclaw, that's for sure. Harry and him are up to something, and I know it because I'm not stupid. Harry and him have been talking about a stone, and I'm pretty sure they're talking about the Philosopher's stone. Not like they even know that's what they're talking about yet. I've read about it in one of my books. I know one thing for sure - they'll get in trouble if they continue to talk about that amazing stone. I don't actually want it, but I know I don't want them to get it. It'll get them in trouble, and I'm not talking detention at all. I'm talking about their lives. But let that worrying come later. I've got to get to my books!
Excited to read,
Hermione
