This is how students originally went to Hogwarts but the plan didn't work as well as planned. Port keys. Although, this was how wiches and wizards used to go to school this way most people missed the port keys and the ones who didn't miss it would end up in the medical room for the first couple of weeks with port key illness - an illness from traveling from port key.
