It was the start of the Quidditch season. Our team had been doing well. There were three games left and so far we had won plenty of games. The next games was between Hufflepuff and Slytherin, then the match of Gryffindor against Ravenclaw. The Winning team of each game would compete for the Quidditch cup. Spirits were kind of low in Hufflepuff. We were in Third place in the House cup so far. Then, add the amount of homework Fifth years were getting. I had an Essay in Herbology, Transfiguration, Potions, and Study of Ancient Runes. In Arithmancy, I had to draw a very difficult chart. In DADA I had to write an essay on non-verbal magic. For the whole weekend, Peter, Maya, and I sat in the common room, working on our Homework until Midnight. I had checked out possibly every Grade 5 book and was sitting and reading in the library during the weekends. Then, don't get me started on the Astronomy homework. We have to draw the movements of the stars and get up every Friday at midnight and go to the Astronomy Tower. Then, there is Quidditch practice, which takes up the time I could be using to do Homework. I had to do everything to keep awake in classes until the Homework stopped coming. All the Professors said there were two weeks until our O.W.L.S. and we needed to study. Since I had done most of my studying preciously. I Decided to get some sleep. It was very worth it. I went to bed at 8:30 and woke up at 9 O'Clock (on the weekends.) It drastically improved my mood and I began to study even harder. There were Two days until the Quidditch match and I felt ready. I created a study set for each of my classes with Maya. It seemed to help her more than me. Soon, Maya had gotten enough energy too and she was ready for the match. I changed into my Quidditch robes and Braided my hair. I Splashed water on my face. I cracked my knuckles. I was mildly stressed, seeing as the Match was against Slytherin.

When the Hufflepuff's strode onto the field there was a huge cheer. 3/4 of the School wanted Hufflepuff to Win, just so Slytherin didn't. Peter was holding up a Yellow banner with a painting of a Badger and a snake. He had bewitched the painting so the badger was slashing the snake with its claws. Both teams rose into the air. Madame Hooch was looking straight at the Slytherins when she said
"I want a clean game. No cheating." Then the commentator, James Phillips, a Fifth year Ravenclaw who very obviously had a crush on Maya, spoke.
"And the game begins" At this, brooms went flying into the air and I took my position as Keeper. Well, as alway Slytherin did cheat. One of the Slytherin Beaters hit the bludger towards me.
"A Scandal. Just so you know, hitting the bludger at a keeper won't get you more points. But, I bet your thick head didn't know tha-"
"PHILLIPS! UNBIASED AND UNRUDE COMMENTARY" I hear McGonagall yell.
"As I was saying. A swift pass from Chaser Helena Wilson and HA! Chaser Maya Wenlock catches the Quaffle. Man, Hufflepuff is doing well. And Chaser Maya Wenlock throws it and 10 POINTS FOR HUFFLEPUFF! Good job Maya, I always knew you would do well."
"UNBIASED PHILLIPS!
"Right anyway, Slytherin Chaser has the Quaffle and makes a throw and Hufflepuff keeper blocks it. Now, now were is the Snitch? OH HUFFLEPUFF SEEKER DEAN EDWARDS FINDS THE SNITCH! He is almost there, almost there. Please Dean, don't let Slytherin win, please."
"UNBIASED! WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR PLACE TO BE TAKEN?"
"Anyway HUFFLEPUFF WINS THE GAME" says James. 3/4 of the school is cheering loudly and 1/4 of it is booing.
All of Hufflepuff is shouting,
"GO, GO HUFFLEPUFF! GO, GO HUFFLEPUFF!" Even Professor McGonagall is Cheering. It is an amazing moment and its warmth spreads through me and fills me with pride and Joy. We are going to play in the Quidditch Cup.
