The Hallowe'En Dance
Chapter 9
After the cornish pixies episode, most of my stage-fright fears vanished, mostly because I was just so happy with my costume. I was confident, and I had to show my friends that we could do it. Even if it was in front of 1,6405 other students...
Anyway, Celine took the lead singer position, and that was definitely the right choice, because she made the performance 10 times better. We did some random Hallowe'en song that Heather taught us last minute, and I had to scramble to figure out which chords to use. After the performance, a girl got all caught up and told Luke that she loved him. It was quite awkward, really. The dance was really fun, even though all I did was sit and watch awkward couples during the slow dance. I'm quite glad, actually, that no one asked me, because I'm sure I would have been an embarrassment, and I don't even like dancing. We got back to our dorms really late, and I was more tired than I usually am. Nothing fun really happened.
