Daffodils And Dewdrops
*THIS IS A CONTINUING STORY, I WILL ALWAYS BE PUTTING MORE CHAPTERS UP! THANKS* Okay, this is your typical Hogwarts student journal, but you'd be surprised how interesting these can actually be. Anyway, go Hufflepuff (Haters gonna hate) P.S go look at my cousin Meadow Vasquez's book. I've linked it here and anytime the word of her title comes up in this book. Don't judge the title, it really isn't how it sounds. We are bfcf (best friend cousins forever) and this kind of follows our story at Hogwarts and be prepared for confusion because we have lots of inside jokes. Here is the llllliiiiinnnkkk for her book!! http://hogwartsishere.com/library/book/854/ ;) Please send me an owl for feedback!!! Please please please. FLITTERIFIC! THANKS! Farewell my darlings, and may the odds be ever in your favor. I don't know why I felt the need to say that. Do the odds NEED to be in your favor? Hmm, I don't know, maybe you should send me an owl and tell me! Muahaha... Okay, moving on.

My Dorm-Mates And I Travel ''Somewhere Over The Rainbow''
Chapter 3
''First year Huuuufffllleeepuuuffs!'' the Hufflepuff Prefect, Noemi sang. ''Follow me!'' she led us to the basement, where the common room and dorms were located. We all piled into the common room and I collapsed on the couch, holding my belly.
''Tuckered out?'' Lilac asked me with a smile.
''Too much foooood.'' I groaned, rolling over onto my stomach.
''I hope we're in the same dorm.'' she said.
''Me too.'' We high fived.
''Ow!'' she yelled, clutching her now bright red hand.
''Oh my pots and kettles are you alright?'' I said, ''I'm sorry! I always forget to tone down the high five hand power.'' I face palmed.
''That is a-okay.''
Lilac and I ended up being in the same dorm, along with some other girls; Ella, Floerence, Lillian, Celine, and Heather.
''That's your bed.'' Lillian told me, pointing to the one in the corner closest to the window.
''Yay!'' I said. ''I love windows.''
I dragged my trunk to my little bed and got straight to work. Daffodils and dewdrops. That's how I decorated my little corner. I got a big baby blue teapot, grabbed some fresh daffodils that I had collected on the way in, and put it on my bedside table. I put pictures of daffodils everywhere, dewdrops, mist, rain, daffodils in the rain, postage stamps, my sister's paintings. I also accidentally spilled my sea glass collection all over the floor. I changed the plain white bed sheets to baby blue, changed the giant blanket to a small quilt full of daffodils that my grandmother had sewn for me when I was younger, (I wouldn't feel comfortable with anything else) and put my ''Rain, Please Stay'' pajamas on.
I grabbed my ukulele out of my trunk and began practicing, sitting cross legged behind the curtain of my bed. I started to sing.
''Somewhere, over the rainbow, way up high, and the dreams that you dreamed of, Once in a lullaby.
Oh somewhere over the rainbow, blue birds fly, and the dreams that you dreamed of, dreams really do come true.''
A voice joined in with me.
''Some day I'll wish upon a star, wake up where the clouds are far behind me. Where trouble melts like lemon drops, high above the chimney top, that's where you'll find me.'' We harmonized.
''Oh, somewhere, over the rainbow, way up high.
And the dreams that you dare to,
Oh why, oh why can't I?'' Two more voices joined in.
By the time the song was over, everyone in the dorm had started singing.
''Ooooo oooooo oooooo
Ooooo oooooo oooooo
Ooo ah, ah, ah... eh ah ah, eh ah ah ah ah...'' I kept playing on the ukulele. Then I set it down.
I came out from behind the curtain of my bed. ''That was awesome.'' I said, and started giving everyone toned down high fives.
