I had become closer friends with Sam and Lilac. I learned that Sam really liked quidditch and Lilac really liked gardening. I love both of those things so we had lots of things to talk about.

I was catching up on some lessons, listening to music and drinking ginger tea. I had missed some lessons because Peeves had thrown a stink bomb and a balloon filled with pee at me which gave me a nasty infection which landed me in the infirmary. Luke and Sarah were rolling around on the floor laughing, Lilac looked at me sympathetically and Sam had been hit with the same things I had but he was still laughing. I have a bad temper and I hate it when people laugh at me so I wasn't in a very good mood.

It was cold outside so I was wearing a tank top, a large knit cardigan my grandma had given me, sweat pants and mocassins. Sam sat beside me and pulled my left earbud out.

"Hey, Sam."

"'Sup."

"I'm catching up on Potions right now." I made a face.

Hey, just because I'm a Ravenclaw doesn't mean I like homework.

"I know that feel."

That was an inside joke between me and Sarah which we told our friends about.

"I know you do." I thought about a time when he got me to help him with a 500 word essay.

"Are you done catching up yet?" I asked.

"Haven't even started." Sam winked.

I put both my hands up. 

"I aint judging." I said jokingly.

Lavender walked up.

"There you guys are. Are you coming for dinner?"

"Yup, I'm almost done this essay." I said.

"Yeah." Sam said.
