It was raining. Yes. I wanted to go outside and sketch for a long time but I never had the opportunity.

I decided to make some ginger tea before I left so I made it and put it in a camping canister for later and brought some mugs.

I walked outside wearing a knit sweater underneath my robes. I found a huge oak tree. I decided to climb it. I had to move around the tree, looking for the best place to climb. I found the best spot. I put foot then hand then foot then hand on the tree. When I finally got to a branch it wasn't as high up as I wanted to be, so I kept going. I found the perfect place. It was as high as I could go and the rain drenched me in no time. I got my sketching stuff out from my backpack and tried to keep it as dry as I could.

I was drawing a tree with charcoal. The rain hit it in some spots of my sketch but that made it look mysterious. Once I was done drawing I put my earphones in my ears and laid back, closed my eyes and listened.

After about fifteen minutes something hit my face and fell in my lap. I sat up and took out one of my earphones. It was a pinecone. I threw it down and laid back down listening to music. Bam. Another one hit me. I threw it down. Bam. Another one. I threw it down. Bam. 

"Agh" I said as I threw it down.

This time I looked down.

"What the heck, Luke." I said when I saw him.

He shrugged. I slid down to the branch he was sitting on. We fist-bumped.

"Tea?" I asked pulling out the canister I had brought.

"What d'you think." He smirked.

I poured us tea into the two mugs I had brought. We both sipped at it.

"What're you doing here?"

"I saw you climbing the tree and I was bored."

"Nice."

"Why do you have extra cups?"

"In case I meet anyone interesting."

"So I'm interesting."

"Yup."

His lip curled.
