Babe
From the title this book looks like it's about a girl who only cares about her looks and social status, right? Wrong. Also if you like this book you should go read my cousin's book. Here's the link. http://hogwartsishere.com/library/book/861/

Chapter 7
The Hallowe'en dance was so cool. Sarah and her dorm mates performed a Hallowe'en song. Sarah on the ukelele, her dorm mates singing.
It was just so crazy. There was so much stuff that happened. Someone got caught up in the heat of the moment and confessed her undying love for Luke. It wasn't even funny though. It just made everyone feel awkward. I feel really sorry for her. Sam and I danced a lot even though our feet were dying from the previous dance. It was hard but we slowly convinced Lilac and Luke to dance. Sarah hates dancing but we got her to dance for a few of the really fast songs.
It's only been a couple of days since the Hallowe'en dance. I forgot to tell you how I decorated the area around my bed because it had been so busy since the beginning of the year but now it's getting more quiet and laid back so I did it a couple of hours ago. I'll describe it to you.
I put a blanket that had dandelion fluff shapes sewn all over it on my bed and my favorite white knit blanket at the end. I put an old fashioned Victorian bound book on my bedside table and my turtle candle-holder on top of it. I taped drawings I had done in charcoal all over my walls. I also dried out the rosebuds that I had in my hair and put them in a tin can with some rose oil to make the area smell nice. Luke gave me the recipe for his mom's ginger tea. So I put that in a drawer. I also stashed the candy I had gotten from the Hallowe'en dance under my bed. I have enough candy to last me a year. Finally, I did a basic charm to make it look like there were real stars on the roof.
Maria has been helping me with being Dorm Leader and I've gotten to know my dorm mates better. I showed Maria the song she asked about and she's been singing it non-stop. She sounds good so it doesn't bother me. Maria also took me on a picnic with some Hufflepuffs.
I walked to the Hufflepuff dorm to ask for Sarah because it was raining. She and I ran outside and started dancing. We were soaked in a minute. When I was dancing I stopped and saw Luke watching from the stairs. I raised my hand and put my middle three fingers down and shook my hand. He did it back.
