From the title this book looks like it's about a girl who only cares about her looks and social status, right? Wrong. Also if you like this book you should go read my cousin's book. Here's the link. http://hogwartsishere.com/library/book/861/

We Meet A Flower And Become Zombies.
Chapter 6
On the way to the library to meet Sarah I realized I hadn't gotten a Hallowe'en costume together. It was weird of me because Hallowe'en is my favorite holiday. I mean I did have ideas but I never had enough time to put a costume together.
Once I got to the library Luke and I found Sarah at our normal meeting place.
"Finally, you're here."
We fist-bumped. "Babe." We said.
"I asked two of my friends to come so we just have to wait a little longer for them."
I nodded and Luke responded with a simple "'Kay."
We waited a little while.
"Oh here they are." said Sarah, craning her neck.
A short girl with dark brown hair walked up beside a tall handsome boy with the same dark hair which was cut close to his head.
"Hi." I said.
"This is Lilac," Sarah said to me. "and Lilac this is Meadow."
We both exchanged greetings. Lilac was petite and stood a bit behind her brother. She had cute chubby cheeks and they dimpled when she smiled. She had wavy shoulder length hair.
"Meadow this is Sam and so on and so forth." She said introducing me to the boy.
"Sam and Lilac are twins."
We exchanged greetings. Sam was almost the opposite of Lilac, he was strong and had an angular face.
"So, that wasn't the surprise. I just needed to introduce you guys." She said. "Follow me."
We started walking.
"Okay, so I was looking for a book about Cornish Pixies. Not just a chapter in a book, A whole book dedicated to them. They are hard to find. But I finally found it. But when I tried to pick it up-" Sarah said.
We stopped and Sarah pulled at a book. The whole bookshelf started to move. It opened like a door. Sarah led us in.
The room we entered was beautiful. It was Victorian style and it looked like it was a ballroom.
I gasped.
"I thought you'd like it." Sarah said to me.
Luke smirked. "The whipped cream princess likes old things."
"Shut up." I said.
I went to the wall and started feeling the carvings in it. There was one carved as a man and a woman dancing. While I was tracing the carving I pushed on it too hard and it pushed in like a button.
The first thing I noticed was the music. A jig. I suddenly felt really uncomfortable. I looked up at the others. Luke was in Victorian style dress.
"You look ridiculous." I said laughing.
"I feel ridiculous" said Sam beside me.
He was dressed just like Luke but with a tall hat and a cane.
I was going to laugh but only managed a fake sounding "Hah. Hah. Hah."
"Me!? You should see you." Luke said.
I looked down and saw I was wearing a light pink Victorian dress and felt that my hair was up. I could FEEL I was wearing a Victorian dress. Everything down to the corset. Which explains why I felt uncomfortable and couldn't laugh.
"I don't know, I kind of like it. Those rosebuds look nice in your hair Meds." Sarah said, skipping to the music.
"Thanks." I took one out of my hair to see it. It was white. I put it back in.
Sarah stopped to adjust her dress which was moss green. Her hair was up too and she had daisies in it. She made a grunting noise "This dress is so uncomfortable." She made a face.
"I feel you bro." I said.
We both laughed.
I finally noticed Lilac when she talked. "I'm always up for a new thing but these are just uncomfortable!" Lilac wore a beautiful white dress with (true to her namesake) lilacs in her hair.
Luke gaped.
Lilac blushed.
"Wha-" Sam looked at some blue things coming out of the walls.
"Cornish Pixies. It's a shame they're so mischievous. They look so cute." Lilac said.
"Wait, did you say-" Sam said.
"Cornish Pixies!" Sarah screamed.
We all ran for cover but the Cornish Pixies got us first. But instead of wreaking havoc they made us dance.
Everyone got five pixies to dance with them. Except Luke who had at least twenty. Not because he was a bad dancer or anything, they just adored him. It was hilarious watching him. He hated them. I mean, I'm sure he would have loved them if they hadn't attacked him. You see, Cornish Pixies' way of showing affection is by attacking. So he was pretty beaten up afterward.
"Guys!" I was getting too tossed around to keep my sentence going. The music was getting faster and so was the dancing. Imagine a salsa and multiply that by 20. That's how fast we were going. It was unbelievable. We couldn't stop, the Cornish Pixies had us in some kind of spell. When I was dancing all I could see was a blur.
Finally after what seemed like twenty minutes we stopped. Everyone sat down and just rested for a while.
"We should probably get going. It'll be time for the Hallowe'en dance soon." Lilac reminded us.
"Dance?! After this?" Luke said.
"Okay, I know that you guys probably feel as bad as I do but, it's Hallowe'en and doing nothing for Hallowe'en is something I promised myself never to do when I was a kid." I said.
"I don't have a costume." Sam said.
"I don't either! We can hurry up and make something!" I said
We all stood up and looked at each other. Sarah burst out laughing. We looked horrible, all of the girls hair was falling out of the updos, Sam and Luke's hair (which had been slicked back) was poking out in weird places, everyone's clothes had been un-tucked and dirty, but most of all it was our skin which was white. When I say white I mean WHITE. Seriously, it was like we had smothered our skin in sour cream.
"Guys, I think the Cornish Pixies helped us make our Hallowe'en costumes." Sarah said.
"They even made our skin white." Exclaimed Sam.
"Guess we're going to the dance as a group of Victorian zombies." I said.
Luke grinned. Lilac laughed. We looked hilarious.
