It had been about two months since the beginning of the year. Sarah and I had become really good friends with Luke. 

It was October 31st, Hallowe'en, my favorite holiday. I sat down in the Dining Hall. I got there early so I could finish reading my book. I read quietly for a while and then someone clunked down beside me.

"Hey." he said.

I fist-bumped him. I wasn't even aware that I had. It was just a reflex.

He started reading beside me. After a while I kept reading the same sentence over and over again so I decided to stop.

"What're you reading?" I asked.

"Wuthering Heights."

"It's pretty dark but I like it." I said.

Sarah, Luke and I always had competitions. If it isn't who read what book it's find a band the other doesn't know of.

"Come on, you've read it?"

"Yup."

"Fine, you made me do this."

He started searching through his backpack.

"I've been saving up these artists. You're never gonna guess them."

"Try me."

"Okay, here." He said with a laugh he gave me his headphones and I put them in my ears.

"Florence and the Machine. Jake Bugg." I said as he played song after song.

"Come on! How did you know! Ok, this is the last one." He said fake hitting me on the shoulder.

"Bring it on."

He played the song.

"Oh crap. I know this one. Come on, Come on." I hit my head with my fist.

"Ten seconds left."

I continued punching my head.

"Nine."

"Eight."

"Seven."

"Six."

"Five."

"Four"

"Three."

"Tw-"

"TRACY CHAPMAN."

"What. The. Hell." He said, fake angry.

His face looked so hilarious, I couldn't help but laugh.

"Okay you deserve this." He says recover rather quickly.

He lowered his hands on top of my head, pretending he was holding a crown.

"Blah blah blah." He said. "I dub thee Emporess of Music."

"Why thank you." I said pretending to curtsy.

Sarah walked into the great hall. 

"Hey babes." she said.

"Hey babe." Luke and I said simultaneously. 

"After we eat I have a surprise for you guys. Meet me at the library." Sarah said.
