"All Ravenclaw first years follow me!"

I stood up with my fellow first years. I noticed Luke didn't stand up. He must not be a first year.

We followed our prefect and got the normal introduction. Where our dorms are, no going into the boy's dorms and vice versa.

Somehow I became Dorm Leader and I decided to leave a note on the corkboard. So far no one has answered. There are four of us in my dorm so it's pretty quiet usually. I was doing my homework while listening to music with my blue curtains drawn around my four poster bed. I decided my brain was fried so I decided to go to the library so I put my library books in my backpack. I pulled my knit sweater over my head and slung my backpack over my shoulders.

Once I got to the library I decided to look for Sarah since she usually was in the library somewhere with her nose in a book. As I said I found Sarah with her nose in a book sitting on a cushion on a windowsill in the most remote area of the library. I sat beside her. We fist-bumped.

"Hey, babe." We said simultaneously.

"Hey babes." said a guy who was sitting by Sarah who I hadn't noticed till he spoke.

Sarah and I were startled but obviously she more than me because she fell off of the windowsill.

I realized who it was. "Oh, hi, Luke. Sarah meet Luke."

Luke offered his hand to Sarah. She shook it.

Sarah, still on the floor, realized what had happened and started laughing, wheezing and kicking her legs on the floor.

Luke and I started laughing. Not because Sarah fell but because she looked so hilarious. 

"Get up you noob." I said offering my hand to her.

She grabbed it and I helped her up. Sarah wiped tears from her eyes and slid back on the windowsill.

We all just sat there so I decided to read my book. I took A Midsummer Night's Dream out of my backpack, scrunched my legs up and started reading. Sarah started reading Most Potente Potions.

Luke started searching around in his backpack. He pulled out a big camping thermos and three cups.

"Anyone want tea?"

"We aren't allowed to eat or drink in the library." Sarah said.

"Just because I'm a Ravenclaw doesn't mean I have to follow all the rules. And besides, what's better than reading while drinking tea?"

"Reading while drinking tea while it's raining." I responded.

Luke smiled. "You know it."

Luke started pouring tea into the cups.

"What kind is it?" Sarah asked.

"Ginger, my mom's 'famous' recipe." He answered.

He gave us the cups.

We all sipped.

"Oh my gosh this tea is so good" I said.

Sarah gave a thumbs up.

"Thanks" Luke responded.

"So why do you carry so much tea and so many cups in your backpack?" I asked.

"In case I meet anyone interesting."

"So we're interesting?" Sarah asked.

"I'd say so." Luke said with a smile.

After that we talked for a very long time. We talked about everything, anything and all the spots in between. I think we all became better friends that day, something about the comforting atmosphere made me not so shy.

We all had to go to our classes so we decided to meet at the same spot and time in the library the next day.
