Chapter 2
I had thought that everything would slow down, or at least they would give me some time to adjust. It didn't work that way.
The doorbell rang about 3 AM. I got up and walked to the door, still half asleep. When I opened the door I saw two people, a man and a woman. The woman had long curly brown hair, and the man had short red hair. The woman seemed to be explaining the whole "doorbell" idea. They seemed to notice me in my old cat pajamas and hair that looked like a rat's nest.
I blinked the sleepiness out of my eyes. "What are you doing at our house at 3 AM?"
"I told you we should have taken time zones into account!" The woman says triumphantly, looking at the man. I noticed their british accents. "Oh, we should introduce ourselves. You're Ani Myracle, right?" I nodded. "We are Ron and Hermione Weasly."
"What?!?" I was trying not to let them know that I was totally freaked out. I guess it didn't work.
"You did get that letter, right?"
"You're fictional!" I blurted.
