Fire-Making Spells
Chapter 5
The Fire-Making Spells, also know as the Fire-Making Charm is a charm and a form of conjuration, that can be used to conjure a jet of orange and red flame. These spells can set things on fire. Miranda Goshawk said it best, “From lighting a warm hearth to igniting a Christmas pudding, the Fire-Making Spell is always useful around the wizarding household. However, the ability to produce fire with the flick of a wand can be dangerous to your fellow students (and worse, your books).”
Charm: INCENDIO (In-sen-dee-o)
History: Even though, there is no history on where this spell came from, this spell was taught to students during their first year to deal with Devil’s Snare.
Effect: Conjures a jet of flame from tip on wand.
Wand Movement: You must move your wand in the shape on a small flame.
Charm: BLUEBELL FLAMES (Hi-s-in-th-um Flam-u-um)*
History: The flames produced are described as being bright blue, waterproof, and radiating heat only to objects held directly above it. The fire can also be touched, penetrated and held without it burning the holder, though it is known to burn materials such as clothing and plants. As such, it may be safely carried in small objects, e.g. a jar, without the object being damaged. These unique flames can also be directed to a desired location by its caster, and return to its original position.
Effect: Conjures blue fire from the caster’s wand in a stream or jet, which then condenses into a body of fire on a nearby object.
Wand Movements: You must wave your wand over the attended target.

* I gave the Bluebell Flames spell it’s incantation. It mean blue flames in latin.
