~ Chapter two ~

I ran to the house, when we got there Camilla and I told my parents all about it. He was shocked, he knew we had to get out of there as soon as possible. We immediately started to pack our things. We were used to packing, so used that we kept half of our things already packed. All the sudden the doorbell rang. I stopped my packing, and stood up I was ready to fight I held my hands out in front of my like a had before ready to hit whoever it was with a blast of hard white mist, Camilla stood beside me doing the same. We heard the door open, it was our uncle Derek. I was glad he was here, but how did he find us? I walked slowly to the door, I saw Derek but no one else. I was overjoyed to see him. I took a quick look outside just to make sure no one had followed him. I made a high pitched squeak and ran I told them to get away from the door. I had seen three very large men getting out of a car in out driveway, I had never seen them before. They turned to look at the door but it was to late, the men came bursting in. All I heard before I ran into the living room was “Derek, no!” and camilla came running in her face in her hands crying. Derek had been shot and killed. Camilla crying hard said, “I told….him to….r-r-un, he d-didn’t listen.” All was silent after that except for more of Camilla’s weeping. Then all the sudden we heard footsteps. I knew it was the men. We had to get out of here. I told mom to take Lilly into her bedroom and hide, and dad to go with them. Camilla and I were going to stop them, or were we?
