As mentioned in the first chapter, muggles have created machines to substitute for their lack of magic. They use them for many different things, including washing their clothes, heating their meals, traveling, and communicating with each other. There are some items of their technology that we wizards have adopted as well. These items include televisions, trains, and cars. Muggle technology keeps becoming more complicated with every passing decade and some wizards are becoming worried that muggle technology may discover and be able to use magical energy.
