Chapter One - Muggle Childhood

Chapter 1
Muggle children grow up very different than those born into wizard families. They have no spells and charms to do their dishes and help make food. Everything is either done by hand or by muggle technology, complex machines they have built to substitute for the magic that is missing from their lives. Muggle children are put in daycare when they are babies, and then progress through a series of schools until they become an adult. While at school, they learn about Mathematics, English, Science, Art, Music, and Social Studies. They are also required to complete a P.E. course each year. P.E. stands for Physical Education. Muggle children amuse themselves with televisions, board games, the internet, reading, and playing outside.
