Using Interesting Vocabulary 

Using interesting vocabulary can be the step you need to make your fanfiction snazzy. Use a thesaurus to help you. Below is a before and after paragraph example.

Bob ate his second lunch

Bob consumed his second portion of his mid day meal

Here's another one:

Mary shot her husband's best friend

Mary critically injured her significant others favorite acquaintance 

(I know these sentences sound stupid. They are. But they are just examples.)

The Weasel ate food

The small furry rodent ate his meal
