“Jon?” I whispered frantically.  I poked his limp body.  “Come on, wake up!”  I started to cry.  Suddenly, Jon’s eyes fluttered open and he groaned.  My tears turned from tears of sadness to tears of joy.  “Thank God you're okay!  I thought you were dead!”  I said.  “We need to get through that door,”  he said “but how?”  We sat down on the floor, stumped.  We sat in silence for a few minutes.  Then, Jon’s eyes lit up.  “I got it,” he exclaimed “With that much electrical power, there must be a source, maybe Tyler was dumb enough to put the source on our side of the wall!”  I was the “lookout” for guards while Jon examined the walls.  “Bingo!” he shouted “Look at this!”

 Jon pointed to a small metal door in the wall, it was painted the color of it’s background, so it was nicely camouflaged.  “A circuit breaker!” I said excitedly “Genius!”  Jon ripped the metal door off it’s hinges.  Inside there were dozens of switches.  Fortunately, there were labels under each switch.  Just to be careful, we turned off all the switches which had the  word door under it.  Then we raced back to the door and opened it quickly.

A blinding light covered our bodies.  I raised my arm to cover my eyes while Jon closed the door behind us.  Before us stood a small, white house, and next to that was barn.  There was a field behind the house and woods to the side of it.  When my eyes adjusted to the light, I looked through the woods.  “Jon, look!”  I said “The camp is on the other side of the woods!”  Jon and I ran across the yard and through the woods.  When we got to camp, we headed straight towards the Main Office.  In the office we found my parents and Jon’s parents sobbing into their clothes.  When we walked into the room, they lifted their heads in shock.  A moment of silence passed until we flung ourselves into our parents arms.

After that fiasco, Jonathan and I met every day after school.  We needed to figure out where the other kid with powers was in the world.  “Well, his voice was deep so he was obviously a boy,” said Jon during our second meeting, “And he had a british accent…”  I stared.  “So you`re saying we have to go to the U.K!?”  He nodded.  Luckily, Jon`s dad had a business trip to the U.K., and we convinced him to let us come with him.
