The first day of summer vacation was awesome.  My mom brought home a lot of candy from her shop, and we went to eat dinner at a Chinese place.  But then, I got a phone call from Katie.  “You'll never believe this !” she said “but Tyler goes to my sleepaway camp!  He was acting normal though, I`ll call you again tomorrow.”  I told her I`ll keep a watchful eye for anything suspicious. Then I hung up.

The day after that, I was expecting a call from Katie.  But the phone never rang even once. “Big deal” I thought. “She probably forgot.”  But I didn't get a call from her the next day, or the day after that. I was getting more and more worried.  Maybe she was in trouble. Maybe she needed my help.  So I convinced my mom to let me do the same sleepaway camp.  When we got there, a short, red-haired teenager assigned me a group and a cabin to sleep in.  It was nearing dark when my mom left, so I headed over to the cabin the counselor told me to go to. I had to ask for directions on the way, of course.  When I got there I unpacked my things and plopped onto the bed.  Then I fell asleep.

I woke up to a blinding light in my face. I tried to cover the light with my hands, but I couldn`t, they were handcuffed! Fear washed over me. I was tied to a chair in the center of a ring of fire.  There was a spotlight pointed right at my face. Also, there was a gag secured over my mouth, so I couldn’t talk.  Then, I heard someone.  “Mmmppphhh”  called their muffled voice.  I twisted my head around, squinting.  It was Katie!  Without warning, The spotlight turned off. I didn't have to squint.  Standing in front of us was Tyler.

His dark features stood out against his pale face.  He was wearing a leather jacket and holding a Nerf gun.  Me and Katie giggled into our gags.  He couldn't hurt us with a Nerf gun!  Then, all the color drained from our faces as two huge, strong men, came out of the darkness to stand next to him.  Tyler sneered.  “Take off the gags” he ordered.  The men took off our gags and threw them aside.  We gasped for fresh air.  “So, Jonathan and Katie” he sniggered.” Tell me the secret to your powers.” We refused to talk.  Tyler nodded to one of the men.  The man took an apple from a table next to him and crushed it in his hand with no struggle at all. Juice sprayed all over our faces.  “Talk!” Tyler said furiously.  We didn`t say a word.  “Fine” Tyler said hotly “Take them to the dungeons, maybe they’ll want some fresh air so badly, they’ll spit it all out.”  The two large men untied us from the chairs and carried us down to the dungeon.
