The boy, whose name was Zach, told us he had super powers too.  He had super speed.  I took a good look at him before I decided to talk to him.  He was skinny, with brown eyes and hair.  His hair was a tangled mess.  He struck me as the kind of person who is really brave but does a lot of stupid things. When talking to him I found out I was right.  We told him of our powers and everything we’ve gone through.  Zach agreed we had to sneak back into the office we found while my dad was at his meeting during his next meeting, which was in two days.

The next day, Katie and I sat by the door, dad`s meeting going on inside. The minute after the meeting had started, we sprinted away from the door and headed towards the hallway where the mysterious room had been.  We were not surprised to find that the door was unlocked again.  We strolled into the room, very confident we would find something.  This time, we rummaged through the desk drawers. I was surprised that all the drawers were empty.  Then, I found a drawer that was not empty.  All it had was a crumpled piece of paper. “Look at this Katie!” I said as I smoothed out the paper. Then I saw the words, it said:  9:30, Zach, Katie and Jonathan.

When we got back to the hotel we found Jon`s dad checking us out.  We showed him the mysterious note.  The moment he saw it his eyes widened.  “Give me that!” he snarled.  Katie looked curiously at me.  I shrugged.  “I wish I could keep up this act, but you had to stick your nose in everything, including my office.”  Dad said.  Then he stormed out of the room, like he was furious at us.  “Wait!” I called.  Katie and I ran after him.  But it was no use.  He was already in a taxi.

The next morning I woke up to a smack to my face. My back was aching from sleeping on the hard chair in the lobby. I groaned.  Then I saw Zach`s face was right in front of mine, looking very happy.  “Guess what!” he said excitedly, “You can stay at our house tonight!  My mom knows everything.”  I smiled.  “Perfect!”  The next day, I met Zach`s mom.  The moment I saw her,  I was basically blinded.  Her bright red hair fell down to her waist and freckles were scattered all over her face.  “Okay,” she said “Let`s get down to business!”
