Chapter 1
Write. Write, write, write. It's all I want to do.
Just curl up somewhere quiet and write.
I want to hide somewhere quiet and scribble, type, create my stories. I want to watch, entranced, as my words flourish the page, twisting and turning and forming the characters, each and every one, as they run, hide, smile, speak, play, fight, draw, build, read, break, frown, touch, cry, scratch, feel, hurt, WRITE. It's all I want to do.
My stories are my form of escape. They are my secret passageway from this mad, mad world to a peaceful one. A bridge between craziness and calm. A connection between a world in which no one could control, and a world only I can control.
See, when I put finger to keyboard, pen to paper, pencil to page, things leap out that nobody else could ever imagine. I create villains, heroes, protagonists, the happy, the sad, the magic, the talented, the unordinary. All wonderful things. I can't stop myself, it comes pouring out. See? Look how much I've written already. I'm hardly thinking about it, just letting my fingers fly over my keyboard, and watching as tiny miracles flood out. They crash out onto the screen. I make no attempt to stop them. Fifteen lines already! And all I'm doing is writing about writing!
What's the point, some say? There are more points than number in this universe. Mostly because I can let the words come flowing out of my system. Mostly because I can't really stop my nimble little fingers. Mostly because I adore the satisfaction of my words. Mostly to escape the mad world we live in. Mostly because I want to write.
Write, write, write.
