Ranting
I suggest ranting when no one can hear you if you want to rant out loud. I like ranting out loud because it is quicker and personally it feels better.
If you want to write, DO IT ON PAPER!!!!!! This way at the very least you can store it away. Electronically makes it easier to send to people. And if you send it to someone out is basically out there for everyone to see. Plus people are more likely to find your rant on a device.
You may be thinking, "Katrina! Ranting is mainly if you are frustrated or upset! This is a guide to happiness!" And you are completely right. Chapter 2 is all about that!
Now it's something that i often over look because it's kinda weird. Singing. Personally I've only ever rant sing Disney princess style, but it calms me down. This is also the ranting in which i feel the least angry in the end.
Another way is to rant to people you know and trust. This one is at the bottom of the scale because of the whole gossip thing. If it is about a stupid work problem, that's ok but about a friend isn't the best way to go.
Lastly, there is no time limit for ranting. You may think that when you are over it or don't care anymore you are done. No because chances are, that could potentially take years. When you are calm, and we'll talk about that in chapter 3, that's when ranting doesn't seem necessary.
